All knitters, crochet lovers, fiber artists and color appreciators are invited to the Halcyon Yarn Ruby Anniversary Homecoming Party, Sunday July 17, 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Traditional Maine luncheon with lobster rolls or BBQ pork sandwiches (a vegetarian option will be available too), 11:30-1:30. Note: The event that is part of a year-long celebration to mark 40 years in business is open to all, but since a limited number lunches are available, tickets must be purchased by June 30. Live music, sheep to shawl demonstration, vendors, yarn and fiber tastings, drawings and giveaways plus special “ruby” coupons.
