Pear-ish Yarn Pairs Up With Memories of Catskill Game Farm

Summer’s gone. Memories linger. Ahead is the glorious window of Indian summer – light-drenched days, cool nights for sleeping. While gardening accompanied by two Boston terriers, there was time for thinking of places and faces vivid as memories – some from a few days ago and others decades past. After cleaning up (and entertaining one Boston who loves water spray), a few minutes to knit the neck of a work in progress dog sweater. When putting all away, the unexpected juxtaposition of the color of ripe pears, garden shears and a trowel and a ball of Noro yarn that echoed the color in nature was too beautiful to let go.
