Poems Wisdom Yarn, part of Universal Yarn in various colorways is 100 percent wool. The tip of an Indian Lake Artisans cherry wood needle points to a single bold cable of a work in progress on the needles. Poems shown in colorway 587 – also known as “Peacock” – is an affordable color shifting yarn. Stitch definition is held well and the unfolding colors add to time spent knitting with this slightly fuzzy fiber – they are paired with wood needles crafted by Indian Lake Artisans in birch, cherry and walnut – topped with copper toppers that are miniature works of art – fish, lanterns, featheres and shawl pins with an owl and rowboat – and products reviewed in three parts.
